Toni obtained her Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa. She completed a Master of Indigenous Relations degree at Laurentian University, and has an academic background in Medical Anthropology and arts-based health research. Her interests include understanding the intersection between colonialism and intellectual property laws, as well as supporting Indigenous Peoples and communities in protecting their intellectual property according to their own legal traditions. Amongst other projects, Toni completed research for the ABS Canada project.
