My research focuses on three areas
Policies surrounding agriculture and biodiversity have global economic and legal impacts. Dr. Oguamanam’s research focuses on food security, farmers’ rights, access and benefit sharing over genetic resources, environmental law and biodiversity conservation.
He has written and published several articles on intellectual property law-making, biotechnology, including agricultural biotechnology, the policy and legal intersections of traditional and hi-tech agricultural practices, and documentation and digitization of local knowledge systems.
Health Law & Medical Ethics
